What a run!!!

Despite the rain on Halloween night we had a total of nearly 800 people over 3 nights through our little project. Over all it was a rouzing success to be sure!!!

Before we get to the photos and video, I want to thank all our friends that took the time and considerable effort to help pull this off. Although the three of us, Mark, Dan and myself usually do most of the construction, without our increadible group of friends supporting us and lending thier considerable talents to acting in the haunt, all we would have is a cool looking haunt.

So without further ado, here the pictures.

This is Karen. She worke the door most of the time, answering questions, pumping up the crowd and keeping us stocked with fresh victims!
This is Mark. He worked the hardest room of the haunt all 3 nights. He would greet the people as they came in, give them a quick rundown of the rules and then scare the crap out of them!
For the last two years, Dave has played the character of Momma to a T! He generally creeps them, gives a good scare and then a good laugh. Its a little scarry how much he enjoys wearing a dress!
This is our good buddy Hoss. He was our actor in our signature room this year - The Swamp! Hoss did an increadible job and got lots and lots of screams from those unlucky enough to get lost in the fog.
Here's Shannon as our chicken coop guy. He and Dan worked this room most of the time. Both did a great job at getting the people turned around and back into the swamp. The chicken coop was kind of our last idea for our haunt this year and I had my doubts about it, but it really turned out great due to the acting that took place in here.
When Dan wasn't in the Chicken Coop, he was working the Ghille Room with Scott. This was a room concept we came up with last year that really reached it fruition this year. He and Scott were just killing them in here.
Here's Scott already out of his ghille costume. Scott is one of those people that is always happy to do whatever is needed. Believe it or not, he's even scarier looking when he's in costume!!!
Here's Diane. She turned what should have been a totaly dead corner into a great scare. She would lie motionless on the floor surrounded by other props and then pop up and scare the crap out of them. Awesome job!
Just when they thought it was safe along came Mike. As folks would stand in front of the Voodoo altar admiring the ghost and voodoo dolls, Mike would come rolling out from under it with a shaker can and just nail them. The last night I worked under there and got some great scares!
Here's Ezekial in our final room, he and Clayton (below) and Taylor worked this room most of the time and gave a great scare in our finale room. The photo isn't so great, but if you've ever seen a splatter or a dot room, you know how effective these guys can be.
And finally we have Clayton who was working the splatter room with EZ. Clayton and his sister Taylor were great helps this year and they did a fantastic job. They were also helped out by Diane and Mark's daughter Jessica in this room. Although younger than all the other actors by a good bit, all of them did a fantastic job working this room and gave some of the best scares of the haunt! Excellent job guys!
And here's the most of the crew posing on the front porch. We're missing Taylor, Jessica and Tracy in this photo, but I think we got everyone else.

Again, without everyone you see in this picture taking time away from thier families and own lives, no matter how cool we built it, we would have nothing!

I can't thank you guys enough, but I will sure try.

(By the way, I'm the big ugly guy in the middle of the picture on the porch with the hat. I forgot to get someone to take a photo of me doing my supervising and PR during the haunt! Yeah, like you'd want to see a picture of that!)
